Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 July 2026

WristWise is an Android wellness app developed and operated by Offsite OÜ (registry code 14061956), Estonia. It reads health data you have already collected with your watch or ring and makes it available to an AI assistant you choose, so you can ask questions about your own numbers. This policy explains what the app reads, where processing happens, what leaves your device and what never does.

WristWise is a wellness app. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Health Connect data the app reads

WristWise reads data through Health Connect, and only the types you approve on the permission screen:

Access is read-only. WristWise never writes to Health Connect, and you can revoke any permission at any time in Health Connect settings.

Why the app reads it

For one purpose: to answer questions you ask about your own health data through an AI assistant you connect. The data is not used for anything else.

Processing happens on your device

Your health history stays on your phone. The app reads it locally through Health Connect and keeps its own local history and settings on the device, so you can look further back than the 30 days Health Connect itself retains. There is no WristWise account and no server-side database of your health data.

How your assistant receives data

When your connected AI assistant asks a question through the MCP connector, our relay signals your phone. The app answers from its local history and the answer is passed back through the relay to your assistant. The relay is stateless: it forwards the request and the answer and keeps nothing. Offsite OÜ does not store, log or read the content of these exchanges. Only the data your specific question needs is sent, only for that moment.

The role of your AI assistant

The assistant you connect (for example Claude or ChatGPT) is operated by its own provider under its own terms and privacy policy. When you ask it a question, the data your question requires is processed by that provider to produce the answer. You choose which assistant to connect, and you can disconnect the WristWise connector at any time in that assistant's settings. Offsite OÜ is not affiliated with or endorsed by these providers.

What we never do

Our use of Health Connect data complies with the Health Connect permissions policy, including its Limited Use requirements: the data is used only to provide the feature described here, and never for advertising, data brokerage or resale.

What we do hold

To run the service we keep a minimal pairing record that links your app installation to your connector, and your subscription status through Google Play. This record contains no health data. One active pairing is allowed per app installation.

Retention and deletion

There is no health data to delete on our side, because none is kept there. On your phone, you can remove everything by revoking permissions in Health Connect and uninstalling the app, which deletes its local storage. Removing the connector in your assistant ends the pairing. Data in Health Connect itself belongs to you and stays under your control.

Waitlist and support email

If you join the waitlist or write to support, we receive your email address and message. Waitlist addresses are used for one launch announcement and then deleted. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve your question.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. In practice that is limited to your pairing record, subscription status and any email correspondence, since your health data never reaches us. Write to us and we will respond.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with an updated date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
