Your health data, connected to Claude.
The WristWise MCP connector is the secure bridge that lets your AI assistant read your own smartwatch health data — sleep, resting heart rate, SpO2 and trends — and answer questions from your real numbers.
MCP, in one paragraph.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to outside tools and data. A connector is a small, permissioned bridge: the assistant asks, the connector answers from a specific source, and nothing else is exposed. WristWise ships an MCP connector for your health data.
What it gives your assistant
Read access to the health metrics WristWise keeps on your phone — nightly sleep stages, resting and average heart rate, SpO2, and how each is trending over weeks and months. Your assistant turns those numbers into a plain-language answer, in the chat you already use.
What it does not do
It does not stream your data anywhere to be stored, and it does not give the assistant free rein over your phone. Each request answers one question and keeps nothing on our side. WristWise is a wellness companion, not a medical device.
What you need first.
The connector is the bridge, not the data. It works only alongside the WristWise app, which reads your watch and keeps your history on your device.
- The WristWise Android app, installed and connected to Health Connect with a data source such as Samsung Health.
- An MCP-capable AI assistant. Claude supports MCP connectors directly; other MCP-capable assistants work too.
- Your Device ID from the WristWise app, used to sign the connector in to your own data.
Without the WristWise app there is nothing for the connector to read — the app is where your health history lives, on your phone.
Connect it once.
Setup takes a minute and happens inside your assistant's settings. You do it once; after that you just ask.
- Install WristWise on your phone and let it connect to Health Connect.
- Open Connect in the app and copy your Device ID. On Claude, one tap starts the connector setup for you.
- Add the connector in your assistant's settings — the WristWise connector in Claude, or the server URL
https://mcp-wristwise.offsite.ee/mcpfor other MCP assistants — and sign in with your Device ID. - Ask your assistant "how did I sleep last night?" and get an answer built from your own numbers.
Claude and other assistants are products of their respective owners. WristWise is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
